VINTAGE REAL dagger SWORD MADE FROM A SWORDFISH BILL scrimshaw carving swords

Description

This is an amazing sword dagger made from a real swordfish bill! It is from an old collection of unusual marine and sea items. I have had it over 25 years. There is no data with it, but I have had it examined by several sword collectors and they have been impressed with how unusual it is. It is 14 1/8" long overall, and the base is about 1 1/2" by 1", and tapers to the point as seen in the photos.  It is smooth and rounded. Two small holes on the base. Nicely polished and in excellent condition! Heavy and solid. Amazing addition to any collection of knives, daggers, swords, nautical items or art, etc. Winning bidder adds .50 shipping in the US.
