Sleepy Hollow and Brining Out the Dead Laserdiscs FACTORY SEALED! *PLEASE READ!*

The first laserdisc released in North America was the "DiscoVision" edition of the original JAWS in December of 1978.
Some 13 years later on October 13, 2000 the LAST laserdisc released was Bringing Out the Dead. Sleepy Hollow came out just months before it. Both are highly sought after by collectors (with Sleepy Hollow, oddly enough, being the most desired of the two - perhaps because it had a smaller pressing, thus adding to the rarity of it).
Both are difficult to come across... and FACTORY SEALED, even more-so.
BOTH are factory sealed and in mint condition!
So here's your chance!
These items are sold as factory sealed non-functioning collector's items as pictured. The factory seal is part of the condition in which the items are sold so we are unfortunately unable to accept a return if the item has been opened.
The opening of factory sealed collector's items significantly decreases the value.
Also... all sales will be FINAL because the Gelopo World Store will be closing down indefinitely after July 21, 2021 - so unfortunately we will no longer be accepting returns.
So please keep that in mind before making the purchase.
We are also collectors, so we know the importance packaging plays when preparing a shipment. We take the time to make sure any item we sell is packaged with care so it arrives at its new home in exactly the condition in which it was described and sent… the way we would want to receive it.
We ship the majority of our stock “signature required”.
Why is the item listed as "Non-Functioning"?
We purchase from the perspective of a collector. So our brand new items are a great opportunity for collectors who are seeking Factory Sealed, Never Opened, and Mint condition items to add to their collections for display purposes.
For those who purchase the items with the desire to use them, we advise that they are “non-functioning” (outside the function of being a collector’s item), so the customer can have the understanding that since the item has never been opened there is no way to 100% guarantee the functionality of it.
(You will notice when checking out our other products for sale that we ONLY add that stipulation to items we sell that are Brand New, Factory Sealed and Never Opened).

The reason we do not accept returns of factory sealed collectibles is that the practical purpose of the item (from a collector’s standpoint) is to be displayed only. Once it is opened it is no longer a collector’s item and becomes something different and of significantly less value.
Just as a side note, I have an item that I researched and found out that sealed it goes for over 0, and opened, even in like new condition, it is only worth around . (I purchased it opened sadly (smile), but I still enjoy it in my personal collection).
