"
The blade of the knife is made of forged Damascus steel (the essence of Damascus manufacturing technology is forging welding of different grades of steels with different carbon content.
Manipulations with the number of welded steel layers and their relative position in the metal mass determine the pattern on the blade surface and create the effect of a mechanical micro-saw on the cutting edge.
In the end, the blade has up to 1500 layers of steel).
After heat treatment, the blade has a hardness of 60 HRC units, so it has excellent
cutting properties.
