FINE ANTIQUE VICTORIAN SILVER PLATE NUT BOWL w SQUIRREL ROCKFORD SILVER Co #616

Description

This is an Estate Fresh old Silver Plate Bowl that is one of the coolest I have had in a long while.  I bought the bowl at the sale for the form and fancy legs and honestly never saw the squirrel until I picked the piece up!  Its a well made awesome touch.  The piece is made by the Rockford Silver Company somewhere around the turn of the Century.  Its in great condition as described above.  The bowl stands 4.75" tall to its beaded decorated edge not counting the 1.75" tall Squirrel.  It is 7.75" across the top  of its shaped filigree rim.  The legs are decorated with baskets of Flowers to a slightly rolled 2 button foot.  Its as nice a Squirrel enhanced Nut Bowl as is out there.
Please note** the bowl sits fine and flat, it is just my rug and angle that make it look tipped... its not,  Sits perfectly
