COBRA 2000 GTL

Selling for a friend. This radio is from a SMOKERS home! I gave it the obligatory wipedown, but I can still smell it some from the top vent.
Radio cleaned up fairly well, looks in pretty good condition. Would be better with some more detailing.
It is working, I made contacts on both AM& SSB. Good output, good audio reports, but I'm sure radio would benefit from switches and pots being cleaned, and an alignment. But seems very usable as is. It has extras, the 3 position knob on front gives regular 40, plus 40 lower and 40 upper. Seems like a well done mod. Meters are stuck. Strangely, they were both working when I first turned the radio on, and the next day they were unresponsive. Frequency counter and clock seem to be working well.
Please consider your bid carefully, especially if you are sensitive to cigarette smoke. I'm selling it for parts or repair, no returns! That said, if you know your way around a radio, this should be a great deal!
