Description
This antique dish features a wonderfully detailed squirrel perched on a branch above the bowl. He's either looking for nuts or gnawing on one. The piece was made between 1904-1920 by Knickerbocker Silver Company of Port Jervis, New York. It's in excellent condition! The silver finish is beautiful and there are no dents or damage. The only thing I see is a small discoloration on the inside bottom of the bowl (Photo 4). The set belonged to my Grandmother and has been stored in a special anti-tarnish bag (included - see Photo 11).Markings

Dimensions
: 6" to top of bowl, 8" to top of squirrel. 4.5" diameter at base, 6.75" diameter at widest point. Weighs 1 pound, 5 ounces.
Would make a fun and beautiful addition to your silver or animal motif collection. For the holidays, I filled the bowl with silver painted walnuts (Photo 10). This dish would also make a great gift for the squirrel lover (or hater) that we all seem to know!
