Antique English Sheffield Large Punch Bowl Repoussé Decorated with Cups & Ladle – Hallmarked
Our ‘blue on blue’ dinner party was a very special evening for us as it was our first formal party since the beginning of Covid and was our annual celebration of our departed Mother’s birthday whom we try our very best to emulate in all that we do. For this reason, we celebrated with champagne & an exquisite orange champagne punch. We brought our one of Mother’s most beautiful antique English punch bowls for the occasion – set up on a round mirrored plateau to give it even more focus & stature. This is one of her most beautiful punch bowls – repoussé decorated – meaning that it is hammered from the inside out so that flowers & swirls & acanthus leaves are raised on the outside of the bowl. It is a true work of art using this technique.  The bowl is 15 inches in diameter & nine inches high. We are including a set of 12 handled silver plate cups & a large silver plate English ladle for serving the libation. Everything is hallmarked. It will arrive to your home in gleaming antique condition.
