Antique Aesthetic Movement Silver Plate Reed & Barton Bowl Repoussee Roses.
This is a deep cache pot, and has been used as such. It is marked MFD & PLATED BY REED & BARTON 2885 PATENT APPLIED FOR.
Dimensions: 4.25” tall, top opening is 4 7/8” across. There is a renaissance revival type of intricate border design at the upper band and a more Japanese styled belt design a bit lower.
Garlands of roses and other flowers circle the lower part, and the roses are hammered out in repoussee fashion.
Shiny with a good amount of silver on this. Inside on the bottom is some silver loss from water (used for plants or as a centerpiece).
