The tuck is all original and had been setting for 13 years so to Check 83 Chevy for function operation started engine and I then install new
fuel tank, lines, tank fuel indicator in tank, New Battery, new Fuel Pump, Air filter, oil change, Gas treatment to new fuel, Wiper blades, some new vacuum hoses, new spark plugs.
Does need tires due to age and right headlight before put on road. AC need a charge for check function.

Mechanical:
I drove the truck a couple of miles and everything worked ok. The
305ci V8 engine
sounds good with a little smoke at start up but been setting for 10 years. The transmission doe shave some fluid leak and had to add fluid and assumed needs filter change with new gasket and rear seal replaced.
The body is sound and the truck bed has one rust rot spot at right back bed floor as shown by photos. (REFER TO PICTURES,). The only major dent is in the driver side door but fixable. SEEMS ALL GOOD. The Frame is Solid and the floor boards seem good. The Bench Seat need upholstered.
Needs new window cranks and lube window track. Door trim gaskets need work, The Dash has Truck
Instrument Cluster but needle on oil pressure gauge broke needle and amp gauge is not showing charging but alternator is charging. Needs the cluster Lens
for Gauges,
gauge bezel
and needs dash assembly and AC vent Parts, Door panels are in faire shape. The glass in the truck is all good.
This would be a truck you could spend a little money on and make a nice show truck and is a good start.
