1981 Chevrolet C-10

Description

I bought this pickup last December from Steve at Red Hills Rods and Customs in St. George UT. and have only put 28 miles on the pickup.  Thought I would drive it more but I prefer getting sideways in my Camaro Z28.   I'm buying a Polaris RZR if I can get 000 out of the C10 which is what I have into the pickup.  When I bought the pickup it had a 2' dropped spindles in the front and a 2" drop in the rear.  I prefer a level pickup look so I left the rear 2" drop and replaced the front 2" dropped spindles with stock height spindles and springs so the pickup sits level.  While I was replacing the spindles I decided I might as well replace the original front upper and lower bushings and upper and lower ball joints.  The 2" dropped spindles had 1" disc brake rotors and the new stock height spindles required 1.25" disc so I bought a CCP big disc brake kit which includes new disc, bearings, 1.25" brake calipers and braided brake lines.  I also replaced both rear brake cylinders because one had a small leak and had the front end aligned after the front end work was completed.   Below is Steve's add info. when he had it up for sale, hope he doesn't mind me using it but he writes really well, if you are ever in St. George his shop has some really cool stuff.   I have also added chrome bumpers to the pickup.  I also have a video, if you google,  Roberts 1981 C10  it will take you to the video.   I'm retired and live on a wide street so if you want to use a car carrier I can assist with that and if you purchase the pickup I will store the pickup inside a garage till you can get the pickup.

, and the new steering wheel that was installed during the restoration process (the original steering wheel goes w/ the truck). The interior is in excellent condition throughout, and the light Doeskin interior really looks wonderful against the Dark Chestnut Metallic paint. All of the original gauges, lights, blinkers, AM/FM radio, etc. are in perfect working condition as well. This really is a beautiful pickup truck!
Pop open the hood and you will find the
original rebuilt 305ci 2V motor
looking exactly as it did nearly 40 years ago. Everything under the hood is bone-stock just like it was when it left the factory back in 1981. The motor is linked to the
original rebuilt TH-350 automatic transmission

original 2.56 rear axle
. She fires up instantly, settling into a nice smooth idle, and she runs & drives beautifully in every way. I must say that the
